Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Colorado
River District
A workplace art program that maps the river itself, made for the people who steward the Colorado.
For the District's offices in Glenwood Springs, a centerpiece anchors the reception while regional photography and landscape painting carry a sense of place through the building. Each piece was sourced and placed with care, holding together as a single, quiet collection.
The work draws on the region's landscapes, its history, and the hands of local artists, echoing the District's own care for the water and country of the Colorado River basin. That commitment to place runs through how the collection was built: in all, the project supported 4 independent artists and 8 small businesses, 7 of them local.
